Synopsis of "My girl" (1991)

My Girl is a romantic/drama movie about the story of two young friends, Vada and Thomas J, although the focus is more on the girl. She lives in a house that also is a funerary with her father and grandmother. Her mother died after she was born. Vada likes to do tricks with her friends, like show her grandmother for them, faking that she is dead. The movie portrays a young friendship that excites the viewer, it’s very emotional following how Veda’s life changes as the movie progresses, there are several moments that highlight her friendship with Thomas J. and her relations with her studies, these moments can bring a nostalgia of your childhood. In the end something tradical happens and all her world collapses. 

This is my favorite movie, every time I watch it is like the first time, I’m completely in love with it. My Girl is my comfort zone, I’m always watching when I feel sad or I just need a comfort moment. If you are looking for a movie that shows a beautiful love between friends, you must see this movie but get ready because you are going to cry, despite this I promise you, you will love this movie!
