JUNE PARTY

Hello, guys! Did you think that just because we're from the English language course there wouldn't be a June Party? Well, there was, and it was a lot of fun! The post-pandemic moments started to come back to our reality, and we have really missed all of that! Thus, on Tuesday, June 28th, right after our dear English Talks, in which our ETA spoke about the university in the United States and her experiences, the moment of fun began, with music and typical foods, all to value the culture of our country!

Let's see a little bit of our students' opinion on this, starting with Pedro, from the 3rd year. He said: “Our June party was wonderful! A moment of interaction and union among the undergraduates. And besides this, of course, enjoy typical foods bought or prepared by ourselves. All this to the sound of June Party music, and even songs in English sung and played by some students”. Our 3rd year student Julia Salviatto also said: “Our Arraiá was amazing!! A time to meet and interact with students from other grades, who we barely knew due to remote teaching. Not to mention the delicious food, right? It was super worth it and I look forward to having it again next year!” And, finally, our ETA Adrianne also gave us her opinion about that day: “Haha, I really enjoyed it! We don't have that kind of celebration in the US, and for us June is summer, not winter. I also loved trying all the foods everyone brought. And it was nice to have a night off from regular classes”.

It is always good to value the culture of our country, and of our mother tongue, in a moment of great fun and learning!
