On November 24th , the election for the Rectorate of the State University of Paraná (Unespar) will take place, and it was recently approved that it will occur online.

According to the regulation approved by the University Council (COU), the academic consultation for the choice of the dean and vice-dean will take place virtually, through the electronic voting system operated by the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR).
Community members can participate in the simulation following the guidelines that were sent to the email registered with Unespar. Anyone who has not received any e-mail and wants to participate can contact the representative of the Electoral Commission of the Apucarana campus, Valdir Anhucci, by e-mail: valdir.anhucci@unespar.edu.br.

As Unespar system is not supported to accommodate the Helios Voting system (free electronic voting system), a partnership was established with UTFPR, in Curitiba. The System has already been used by them in their last election and, therefore, they have the structure and specialized personnel for that.

When receiving the e-mail to access the voting platform, the voter must go to the link forwarding, enter login and password, choose their candidate, confirm the choice and the message that will appear on the screen to check if the vote was cast with success.
