A cat breeder came across an abandoned puppy. Even though she was an expert on cats, she decided to adopt him.

The cub was developing and receiving the same care as his fellow cats. But, as a dog, he developed a "problem" of identity: he could not have the attitude of a dog. His favorite food was milk; he made his needs in sandboxes; he played with yarns of wool; he licked himself all the time; he liked to balance on windows and walls, and instead of barking, he meowed.

The breeder was so passionate about cats that she didn’t even notice such behaviors. Thus, this was, nastily, the neighborhood comment, that stated as very odd both hers and the dog-cat’s behavior.
